4/13 - Double Deacon Day - Ordination of Ross Eddy & Reception of Deacon Darren Jones. Your prayers and presence are requested on Saturday, April 13th at 11am as Bishop Chris Warner ordains Ross Eddy to the vocational diaconate and we receive Deacon Darren Jones to the diaconate. Refreshments and fellowship follow the service.
4/14 - Bishop's Visitation. Bishop Chris Warner will lead us in worship. A reception with light refreshments follows the 11am service in the Fellowship Hall.
4/20 - Children's Ministry Arboretum Meet-up. All Children's Ministry families are welcome to join us for a fun time at the State Arboretum, just around the corner from the church. We’ll meet at 10am on Saturday, 4/20, at the Pollination Garden near the Quarters, and walk the Native Plant trail. Elise Medina is happy to answer any questions!
4/27 - Spring Work Day from 9am-11am. All are welcome for a productive and fun Saturday morning accomplishing some work projects at the church, both indoors and out. Many hands make light work - we'd love to have your help!
4/27 - Youth Group Board Game Night from 6-8:30pm. Bring your favorite board game and come enjoy pizza, sides and dessert at the church from 6-8:30pm. All Youth 6th through 12th grade are welcome!
5/19 - Celebration Sunday. On May 19th Children's Ministry will host its annual Celebration Sunday to celebrate our elementary-aged children and all that they have learned during the school year. The event kicks off with a church-wide potluck and time to “tour” the art projects. Afterward we move into the Sanctuary for our presentation from Acts and memory recitation. We end the event by giving out prizes to all children who have met memory goals.
