Teacher Support Drive
Join us in blessing teachers and students at Hilda J. Barbour Elementary School, which serves a high proportion of students from low-income families, by donating school supplies for their classrooms. This is a meaningful way to build relationships and share God’s love in the very places where our church family lives and works.
The Teacher Support Drive begins on July 6, with teachers’ specifically requested items posted in the church entryway. Items should be brought to the church and placed on the table near the Fellowship Hall by July 27 or alternately, delivered to the school by August 1. Questions? Contact Larissa Lisk or Deb Dunn.
Ongoing Opportunities:
WRM has been serving men, women, and children experiencing homelessness and poverty in our community since 1973. Deeply rooted in their history is a love of Christ and a desire to share that love with others through critical services and life-changing programs. Resident shelter, hot meals served, and a “market”, in partnership with Blue Ridge Food Bank, are some ways WRM serves Winchester.
