On May 19th Children's Ministry will host its annual Celebration Sunday to
celebrate our elementary-aged children and all that they have learned during the school
year. The children will be telling the story of Acts, singing their
memory songs, and more. We also like to put out some of their art
projects from the year for all to enjoy.
The
purpose of this event is to encourage our children in their walk with
God, motivate them to memorize God's Word, and celebrate with them as
they grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord. The event kicks off
with a church-wide potluck and time to “tour” the art projects.
Afterward we move into the Sanctuary for our presentation from Acts and
memory recitation. We end the event by giving out prizes to all children who have met memory goals.
Celebration Sunday follows the 11am service. Consequently, Discipleship classes will be concurrent with the 11am service on 5/19.
If you're able to serve during Celebration Sunday or have questions, please reach out to Elise Medina!
