Wesley graduated from Trinity School for Ministry (now, Trinity Anglican Seminary) with a Master's in Divinity in 2015. While attending seminary, he served as youth minister at Prince of Peace Anglican Church in Hopewell, Pennsylvania. After graduating, Wesley served as a missionary with Church Army USA and interned with a church in the Southside neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Wesley began attending Church of the Ascension in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2016. He volunteered with several ministries at the church and began his ordained ministry in the summer of 2023 as a Curate at Church of the Ascension. He married his wife, Meg, that August.

Wesley and Meg welcomed their son Charlie in February of 2025. They enjoy playing music, going on hikes, traveling, and cooking together. They are excited and grateful for the opportunity to join and serve the Grace Anglican community.
