ITINERARY: In March 2024, Grace Anglican will be taking a 12 day tour with Shoresh Study Tours, a ministry of CMJ Israel. The tour we have chosen is called the "God's Faithfulness Tour". This is a study tour and we will have in-depth teaching at each site we stop. We will travel into the wilderness, swim in the Dead Sea, visit Herod the Great's Palace- Masada, travel up the Jordan River, spend time in the region of Galilee, set sail on the Sea of Galilee, and end our trip with several days in Jerusalem. The full itinerary can be read or downloaded below. Please note that we will likely have slight changes to our itinerary, but it is pretty well set.
REGISTRATION: Begins the week of July 17th and can be done through a link on our website.
COST: $3300 person + airfare. Price includes hotels, transportation, breakfast, dinner, tour guides, entrance fees, etc. Lunches, lunch tips, beverages with dinner, passport fees, mandatory medical travel insurance, checked baggage fees, and expenses of a purely personal nature are not included. Transportation from your home to airport of departure city and return is also not included. We recommend planning for $30-35/day for lunch and spending money.
DEPOSIT: $750 deposit is due at the time of registration for each participant.
GROUP SIZE: Our max number is 40, so you will want to sign-up right away when registration begins to save your spot.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Accommodations are based on two or more persons sharing a room as listed in the itinerary. For single rooms an additional $1172 single supplement fee will apply.
PASSPORT: A valid passport is required. If you don't have a valid passport, you should apply for one immediately. Information on obtaining or renewing a US passport can be found at: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html. Please verify that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the return date of your trip.
VACCINATIONS: No vaccination is required, but please check with your physician for his/her recommendation for you.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & EXERCISE: Israel is a hilly country and even a day tour in the Old City involves many stairs and lots of climbing. It is not an exaggeration to say that on some days, our tour groups are walking about 4 miles a day, though this is not continuous as there are rests throughout the day. If you are not accustomed to that much walking, please don’t wait until your arrival in Israel to start. Give yourself at least a month’s preparation of regular walking, building up to 4 miles (with rests) in one day.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel insurance is required for each participant. After deposit is made, a travel insurance quote through Allianz Travel Insurance Company will be generated for participant's review. Quote varies per participant based on state of residence and age.
CANCELLATION: From date of deposit up to 101 days before departure, if the tour is cancelled by a participant or initiated by the group leader (for any reason) the minimum of $175 cancellation fee will be paid by each registered participant to cover the costs of associated with processing fees. If cancelled 100-61 days prior to departure, full deposit plus any unrecoverable fees will apply. From 60 days prior to departure no refund of any package or flight amount paid will be refunded.
